Adfam is a national charity working to help and better the life for families who are affected by alcohol and drugs. We have a desire to provide an opportunity to be a part of an encouraging and loving family, to take advantage of stable relationships and have good physical and mental health to anybody that has been struck by another person's alcohol and drug abuse.
Family relationships as well as their mental health are threatened with destruction due to drugs and alcohol use.
We support frontline workers and influence decision-makers to stop this happening and also we empower family member and careers.
We talked with family members and frontline laborers As we know that individuals have answers if they have face or confront challenges. So, thanks to our supporters we plan a course of action: using empathy and proofs we notify, encourage and empower both workers that cooperate with those that suffer from a substance abuse of family members, as well as those family members. We aim to provide both groups with resources, knowledge, belief and ways to help themselves, their communities, customers and peers.
Substance use has a very significant but varied effect on family members. Our approach of work with care and close regard which works in the whole world. We accept evidence regardless of how different it might be, paying equal attention to both practical evidence and official research data in order to do this. We listen to our peers, supporters and friends and we base our work on their advice.
We focus on providing the best quality of work to our clients as we are not kidding about our work and our organisation. We are commit to treating families and individuals that suffer the consequences of substance abuse with consideration and honour because we understand that discrimination and disgrace are obstacles to recovery and cause damage. We are going to fight until society accepts drug and alcohol addicts and their families without shaming them.
